Forge of Empire Venice Carnival 2017 questline tasks and tips

Are you waiting for Forge of Empire Valentine day event ? This year FoE Valentine Day event is replaced by Venice carnival. On February 8th, 2017 a new Forge of Empire Venice Carnival event starts. Read full announcement here.

New buildings are available as prizes: Masquerade Ball, Renaissance Villa, Venice Canal, Mask Statue.

Finish all 26 quests by February 28th and you will be rewarded with Masquerade Ball and Portrait of Valentina or Angelo.

Gain Roses from quests and over time. Use them to ask masked attendees at the ball for a dance. If they accept, you will win their heart. Every time you are rejected, the amount of available hearts will increase for your whole neighborhood!

Use your hearts to grab prizes. The ‘Gold Chest” changes daily, offering you a selection of 5 different items. However, the ‘Timed Rewards’ switches every few hours, so be quick to grab your desired prize!

Every three days, the player in your neighborhood who wins the most hearts from any single ball attendee gets a special reward! The special reward is placed in the winner’s inventory. Double your chances when the amount of hearts is high!

Here is full FoE Venice Carnival quest line with tips. Each completed quest will earn you 5 roses or 50-110 hearts . Each quest to you will be presented by Casanova:

1	In The Carnival’s Wake. Welcome to the Carnival of Venice, stranger! join me for a dance at the Masquerade Ball. It’s easy – just offer a rose to someone to ask them for a dance. Don’t worry about rejections, just try again. Reward: 5 Roses
	Use a rose in the event window
	Gather 1,500 coins and 1,500 supplies
2	Venice. During the ten days of Carnival, the whole city turns into a mysterious playground. Everyone is hiding behind a cryptic mask – you never know for sure who the other one might be… Reward: 50 Hearts
	Use 5 roses in the event window
	Build a decoration from your age or 2 from the previous age
3	The Masked Stranger. Oh, and you’re probably wondering who I am? Well, I’d like to keep this my little secret for now. Maybe I will change my mind if you agree to help me with some really important… Reward: 5 Roses
	Use 6 roses in the event window
	Spend 10 Forge Points
4	The Lover. I’m looking for a very special person I danced with yesterday. The dance was short but beautiful – I think I might be in love. Unfortunately, I lost track of my love afterwards. Will you help me with my search? Reward: 55 Hearts

5	The Grand Ball. We should start our search at the Grand Masquerade Ball. But they won’t let me in with my costume from last year. I need to make some changes to make it fashionable for this season! Reward: 5 Roses

6	Newfound Fame. Now I’m ready for the Grand Masquerade Ball. but to be honest, I’m not even invited. I’m not famous enough, so I didn’t get and invitation…yet Reward: 60 Hearts

	Polish or motivate 20 buildings in other players’ cities
7	The Golden Ticket. Seems like my newfound fame did not yet attract an invitation from one of the noblemen and women. So I need to get in the normal way – by buying a ticket. Reward: 5 Roses

8	Cloaked Dangers. Going to a Masquerade Ball can be quite dangerous. I recently heard a story a King being assassinated at one. I don’t think I need to worry, though. I’m just a regular attendee. Rewards: 65 Hearts

	Recruit 3 units from your current age or 4 from the previous age
9	Unlucky in Love. I’m back from the Grand Masquerade Ball. Unfortunately, my search was unsuccessful and I got lots of rejections. The more people I dance with, the higher the chance I might find my love again. Reward: 5 Roses

	In production buildings, finish 24-hour productions 4 times
10	Love Hurts. Getting rejected at the Ball can hurt at first, but it’s nothing unusual. The more fancy the mask of the one you are asking for a dance, the more cocky they are and the higher the chance that they will reject you! Reward: 70 Hearts

	Build a cultural building from your current age or 2 from the previous age
11	The Jeweler’s hands. Looking at the masks of the upper-class attendees makes mine pale in comparison. Maybe I need to put it in the hands of a good jeweler… Reward: 5 Roses

12	Business As Usual. It’s fairly easy to get lost in the colorful maelstrom that is the Carnival of Venice. Even though the whole city is celebrating, normal business must continue under the surface. Reward: 75 Hearts

13	Shroud of Mystery. One of the most thrilling parts of the Venice Carnival is the sense of mystery that shrouds the whole city. If I could only peek behind the masks of some of the attendees of the Grand Masquerade Ball… Reward: 5 Roses

14	Carnival history. While I’m preparing for the next ball, I might also tell you a bit more about the Carnival. It has a long tradition here in Venice. The beginnings can be tracked back to the 11th century. Reward: 80 Hearts

16	Fiendish Wonders. The masks have always been the most important part of the Carnival here in Venice, and it is forbidden to wear them outside of the festive season. they range from beautiful to scary, ornate to plain. Reward: 85 Hearts

17	Venice Nocturne. I just learned that the theme for tonight’s ball is ‘nocturnal animals’. I still have that owl mask from 5 years ago, but I need to patch it up and make it pretty for tonight. Reward: 5 Roses

18	About Last Night. What a night! It was great revelry and the feast was spectacular. Also, I got much less rejections than last time. Seems like my reputation is improving. However, I still had no success in the search for my love! Reward: 90 Hearts

19	Wardrobe Malfunction. During last night’s ball, my costume was torn a bit. I need to gather some materials to fix it for the next ball. Reward: 5 Roses

25	The End is Near. I can feel that the Carnival is slowly coming to an end. The atmosphere is slowly building up, until it explodes into one last grand celebration before everything turns back to normal. Reward: 5 Roses
