On 2nd of May, 2022 a Forge of Empire Archaeology event is starting. You will have time until 22nd of May, 2022 to solve all quests. This event reward is Butterfly Sanctuary Set with main building Butterfly House (3×4). It is 5-level upgradeable building with other 6 buildings placable around Butterfly House.
Archaeology Event Introduction
Archaeology Event is very different from previous events. It is like mini game inside Forge of Empire. You need to clear sand and uncover different valuable rewards.
You can buy tools which helps you to clear sand in the tomb. To buy tools you need scrolls which you will get by solving quests and also 50 scrolls by daily visiting the Forge of Empire.

There are two questlines. There is daily quests line (21 quest) and you will receive a new quest each day. But before you need to finish another 39 quests line. Which can be completed in one day or may be not 🙂 Meanwhile daily quests will stack and will waiting for you, when you’re done with the initial 39 quests.
You will receive 50 scrolls for completing each daily quests and 40 scrolls for each completed main quest. Additionally you will rewarded after completing some amount of quests:
- for completing 5 quests you will get Level 1 Butterfly House
- after completing 18 quests – Butterfly Gardens Selection Kit
- after 30 quests – 650 Scrolls
- after 45 quests – Butterfly House Upgrade Kit
- after 60 quests – another Butterfly Gardens Selection Kit
So in total you will get 4,270 scrolls = 120 (initial) + 50 x 20 day + 100 (21st quest) + 40 x 39 quests + 1 x 650 + 40 x 21 (daily logins) and you will be able to buy 200 brushes, 80 shovels and 80 dynamites if you are buying bundle for 395 scrolls. You can buy 10 such bundles.
Additional scrolls and clay tablets
Additionally it is possible to get scrolls by collecting incidents around the city and by finding clay tablets and solving additional quests.
